Experienced psychotherapist based in Belgravia
Choosing to begin psychotherapy is a significant step. Committing to working with a professional can alter the way you think, feel and relate in profound and enduring ways.
Most people are used to coping. Friends, family and colleagues can be supportive, and for long periods that may be enough. There are times, however, when you may find yourself repeating the same patterns, feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and sensing that something needs to change but not knowing how to begin.
Therapy offers a quiet, confidential space outside your everyday life. Together we pay attention to what is happening beneath the surface – your thoughts, feelings, assumptions and ways of relating – so that what currently feels circular or immovable can gradually become clearer and lead to change.

Specialisms
I work with people in high‑pressure, high‑responsibility roles who are experiencing burnout, chronic stress or a sense of meaninglessness despite outward success. Our sessions offer a confidential space to understand how life has come to be organised in this way and to think together about re‑establishing boundaries, reconnecting with what matters and making more deliberate choices about how you live and work.
Alongside my private practice, I have extensive NHS experience working as a psychotherapist with people living with cancer and with those close to them. I support people from diagnosis through treatment and beyond, helping them navigate fear, uncertainty, shifts in identity and the impact on relationships, work and day‑to‑day life.
How I work
We all, as part of the human experience, must deal with loss, difficulties and anxiety. I will work with you to understand whether there are patterns of behaviour that might be resulting in relationships or coping mechanisms that are negatively impacting your life. We will work together to find out what might be the causes or triggers for these patterns and understand how different ways of thinking and understanding can make a real and positive change.
I work psychodynamically which means that the relationship between the therapist and the client is at the centre of how we work together. We will be looking for patterns together to gain insight and clarity. The work is open ended and is typically built around weekly sessions of 50 minutes.
Fees and appointments
The Belgravia practice offers face‑to‑face appointments on Tuesdays from 3pm to 6pm. Evening appointments on those days are reserved for ongoing clients.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are charged at £100.
